📣 Preview Environments: Now Everyone Is Part of the Software Development Process
Historically, only those able to read and write code could be part of the feature review process. Everyone else (think PMs, Designers, and other stakeholders) was relegated to the background, only able to participate once a feature was in a staging environment at best or, even worst, only in production. This left valuable members of software organizations frustrated at best, and completely ignored at worse. We can't allow that to happen anymore. This talk covers what preview environments are and how they provide an opportunity for individuals from diverse backgrounds and roles to provide real-time feedback during the feature development process. As part of the talk, we'll present real-life case studies on how organizations are already using preview environments, the benefits they see on having wider early participation, and how Kubernetes' ability to easily manage and provision a massive amount of infrastructure is helping make preview environments available to all teams.
