Software Engineering Daily Interview with Ramiro

Last week the interview Ramiro did with the Software Engineering Daily Podcast went live and we’re excited to share it with you!

Ramiro talked about managing Kubernetes clusters with Okteto and shared some of the story behind Okteto and why we do what we do.

The how and tooling around Kubernetes is something that people still find challenging, but there are tools to help manage it, and it’s a fun space to be in.

Okteto for cloud native developers

We’re building a platform that is focused on developers. Okteto is not a production platform, but instead, our main focus is on how we help developers who are building services during the development lifecycle. When we started Okteto, there was no one building tooling for Cloud Native Developers. It was a tool that we needed, but that didn’t already exist, so we decided to build it.

Listen to the interview to hear more about why we created Okteto and how it’s used to manage Kubernetes clusters and let us know what you think on Twitter.
